  • Thresholds: Configured specifically for each machine and customer.
  • Event detection: When thresholds are exceeded, events are automatically logged, and users are notified through the IPercept Portal.

Utilization Tracking

IPercept’s Utilization Tracking provides a clear overview of how machines are used during daily operations.

  • Insights: Categorizes machine activity into defined operating states to deliver accurate insights into efficiency, downtime, and overall performance.
  • Off: Machine is powered down.
  • Idle: Machine power is on, but no motion is detected.

Spindle Dynamic Test

The test determines the stable, sensitive, and non-recommended rotational speed ranges of a spindle.

  • Procedure: The spindle is gradually accelerated through 33 incremental speed levels—up to its maximum rated speed.
  • Identification of Critical Speeds: The analysis helps detect resonance zones and speed ranges that exhibit increased vibration magnitudes. These insights are essential for optimizing machining performance and avoiding prolonged operation within critical speed zone.
  • Standardized and Repeatable Process: Ensures a reliable and repeatable valuation of spindle dynamics, enabling a better understanding of vibration behavior and operational stability.
